Welcome to the World of the Living Dead

October 2, 2009

preparednessSome people might say I am obsessed with zombies. Fascinated is probably a better word. I don’t love them; I’m scared to death of them. Ever heard the saying, “Keep your friends close and your enemies closer”? Well, zombies are the enemy. That’s why I’ve made it my goal to know them inside and out (at least whatever part of them hasn’t already rotted away). I plan to learn every single facet I can about their existence. How they survive, how they respond to different situations, and most importantly, how they are best killed.

Zombies are your enemy too. But don’t worry. I’ll do the dirty work for you. All the information you need will be compiled right here. From the latest fighting tactics to the newest crop of zombie pop culture, I’ll keep you up-to-date. Consider me the connoisseur of the living dead. And if there’s anything you have questions about, feel free to ask. After all, when the zombie apocalypse begins, I hope to have some partners in crime.

Good start. (Remember to proof read and get some links going. Find other zombie lovers/haters out there. And, I’m curious: What exactly is your favorite method of dispatching a brain-hungry horde of Zack? Personally, I lean towards blunt object to the head. It’s good for getting out aggression and stress.

It all depends on your attack strategy. Gorilla warfare? Use a shovel. Like you said, blunt and powerful. If you’re facing a horde (the correct term for a group of zombies), it is better to use a gun of some sort. Much more efficient and helps you keep a distance. Just remember: ALWAYS AIM FOR THE BRAIN.

Do you think zombies are real?

    Just wondering.

P.S. “I Am Legend” zombies scared the crap out of me. I would not like to be anywhere near them.

Naw, I don’t think they’re real. Yet. Have you seen 28 Days Later though? In that movie, the zombie outbreak occurs from a biochemical/viral testing on monkeys gone horribly wrong. THAT kind of situation is what freaks me out. It seems much more plausible than running into a vampire or werewolf or something.

Oh my gosh I love the picture you included. That’s so funny. And I have to agree with Ari about the I am Legend zombies.. SO scary. Especially because I hate scary movies. I’m excited to see what zombie knowledge you have in store for us!

Welcome to the wonderful word of zombie blogging! I’ll be keeping an eye on the progress, maybe we can link exchange at some point. Best luck in your zombie endeavors, in any case.

Is Residence Evil a zombie movie? ‘Cause I love that one. The animation is even better than the live action. Hehe.
